As Christmas approaches, many families and individuals in Greece will face the holiday season alone, without the comforts and support most of us take for granted. This year, The Hellenic Initiative, The Hellenic Initiative Australia, and The Hellenic Initiative Canada are coming together for a joint End-of-Year Appeal in support of Emfasis Foundation, one of our trusted partner charities in Greece.
Supporting Emfasis Foundation
Emfasis provides critical support to people experiencing homelessness, extreme hardship, and social isolation.
Often serving as the first point of contact, Emfasis offers food, essential items, care, and dignity to vulnerable individuals and families throughout the year — especially during the holiday season.

Since 2013, Emfasis Non-Profit, an independent and non-profit initiative, has been advocating for the right to dignity and providing immediate relief to those experiencing or are at risk of homelessness and social exclusion.
Our vision is to build a society where everyone enjoys the right to dignity.
Our mission is to provide relief, support, and empowerment to those who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness in every corner of Greece.
A few words about MERRY STREETMAS
Every year during Christmas, the largest campaign to support our vulnerable fellow human beings occurs. Our trained teams of volunteers carry out specially designed shifts offering: Survival items, Hot drinks and food basket, personal hygiene items, psychosocial support & information leaflets.
Help us in our efforts to provide direct crisis relief to the people of Greece.
